Thoughts On:
Exercise, Learning,
and Mental Health
By Richard Durborow
Abstract
I wrote this book to shine a light on research that suggests exercise has a powerful impact on both the learning centers of our brain and our overall sense of well-being. I ask educators, therapists, and parents to pay close attention to these reports so they can put the findings to good use. It is my hope that all children and adults, no matter what neighborhood they live in or what country they call home, will have the opportunity to become healthier, smarter, and more joyful through exercise and play.
